High End Fancy Schmancy Lighting on a Budget

Thursday, August 30, 2018

Ever since I moved into my home 8 years ago, I've been searching for the perfect lamp for my front room. It's a more formal room with vaulted ceilings and NO lighting, which I think was common in the 80's when my house was built. Over the years I added lamps on the piano, wall lighting, and even bookcase lighting, but the room was still dimly lit and lacking a statement piece. I've been wanting to put a large arch lamp in the corner over the sofa, but any decent sized one that I liked was $500+ and way over my budget. I was overjoyed when I found the perfect arch lamp for $122 with free shipping on Brightech! I was thrilled to see that all of their lighting is affordable and stylish and will never run around to 100 different stores searching for lighting again. Now my living room is perfect and I have the perfect cozy reading corner!
Brightech is a lighting company that's based in Los Angeles. They carry everything from floor lamps, string lights, table lamps, to even magnifier lamps. Brightech believes that everyone deserves to have their dream home design and they strive to make high-end design lamps available to everyone at affordable prices.

The lamp even came with a light-bulb! Oh the hours I have wasted away reading instructions and searching for the correct light-bulb for a new lamp only to buy the wrong one and have to go back.

This is a real marble base and it's heavy! I thought it would be some sort of cheap imitation marble for the price, but it's real!
My son enjoyed the packaging way too much, lol

Want to know a secret about my living room? That bookcase isn't really a built-in bookcase. It's 2 IKEA bookcases put together sitting in the entry to the dining room. I wanted 2 separate rooms, but didn't want to do anything permanent. See the full Living Room / Dining Room transformation here:
