31st Penny Pinching Party


Since we just celebrated Earth Day, I am featuring all of the wonderful Earth Day links from last week. There were a lot of really great suggestions that are both environmentally friendly and thrifty.

Premeditated Leftovers has some great suggestions from homemade cleaning products to visiting the library.

There were all sorts of Earth Day sales going on, but Frugal Follies has better alternatives to the "Earth Friendly" products that the stores want to sell you.

I just loved Frugal-Living-Skills Reduce, Reuse, Recycle blog post. I agree 100% about not driving all around town using coupons and finding the best deals. Go read their blog to find out why that is a bad idea and how getting rid of stuff can also save you money.
