FREE FRIDAY DEALS * December 18th, 2009

Thursday, December 17, 2009

It is hard for me to believe that Christmas is only 1 week away. I did all of my shopping weeks ago and have not been in crowded stores looking for gifts this year. It seems like there is more "stuff" than ever these days and my email inbox keeps filling up with all sorts of deals from stores trying to get my last minute business. Stores are offering all sorts of discounts and free shipping right now, but I don't fall for it. I know that there will still be sales and discounts after Christmas and I really don't need anything. Sure there are great deals out there, but if you don't need what you are buying is it really a great deal.?

When I think about it, I really haven't spent very much money this year. I have been selling old toys and things around my house on ebay and craigslist and have done pretty well. I got some great Black Friday deals and am making some of my gifts. I didn't spend anything on decorations since I already have a fake tree and decorations. Now as long as my dear husband listens to me and doesn't buy me anything expensive, I will have a pretty inexpensive and enjoyable Christmas.

One thing I have been working on lately is pictures. What grandparent doesn't love to get pictures for Christmas??? I recently started a Shutterfly account and free web page. I am actually really enjoying Shutterfly. From my free private web page, family and friends can go and view all of my photos, albums, and even order pictures.
Right now you can add a $15 credit to your Shutterfly account. Here is how to do it:
Login or create a Shutterfly account, click on "My Account" and scroll down all the way to "Special Offers." Click on "Enter Special Offer Code" and enter the following code: FIFTEENOFF
*I have not been contacted or paid by Shutterfly to endorse them.

That is all I am posting for FREE Friday this week because I feel that there is just too much STUFF this time of year. I will not be posting a FREE Friday next week and wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

  1. It didn't work for me and said 'Sorry, this special offer may not be applied to your account.' Thank you for thinking of us and sharing codes with us!

  3. I have looked into it and for some reason this code works for some and not others. It worked for me just fine. Sorry if it doesn't work for you, maybe you can try later.

  4. Sorry I haven't been by for awhile. I have been having major Google problems and Google has no suggestions on how to fix it so I hope things are going well for you.
after weeks and weeks of non-stop Google issues, and still having problems-I am throwing my hands up and making much needed visits.
I hope you have a Very Merry Christmas and hope you can come by for a visit.
