Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!
I clipped this recipe from the Taste of Home magazine several years ago and it has been a family favorite. It only takes me 15-20 minutes to make and is a complete meal with vegetables included!
This meal only costs about 50¢ a serving and the kids LOVE it!
2 cups broccoli florets
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of
chicken or mushroom soup, undiluted
1 large carrot, julienned (or cut thin)
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 garlic clove, minced
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 cups cooked spaghetti
In a large saucepan, combine the first seven ingredients. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat until vegetables are tender, about 12 minutes. Stir in spaghetti; heat through.
I like to grate fresh Parmesan on top.
Yield: 4 servings.
