MAN, I just discovered your site. I missed out on the penny pinching party. I'll keep my eyes open wide for the next one. But just to say, I bought a great dining room table last night at a thrift store for $8 ! It seats 6 very comfortably, it's needing refinishing, it's medium brown but I want it dark black-brown. It will be a fun project. It is sleek and modern and has room for leaves but there weren't any with it. Perhaps I could get some made for a song? I'm you newest follower, ~ Renae

nice tip! Saran wrap works great too with a rubber band or tape to seal it to the jar and small holes poked in it, they get in but not out. mix some dishwashing liquid and apple cider vinegar and coat the walls of the jar, then you won't have to waste fruit or put the jar in the freezer because the dishwashing soap makes them drown and slip when they try to stick to the sides.
